Audio Visual Project Manager
Job Description
Job title: Audio Visual Project Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end management of digital signage and AV installations across retail, hospitality, corporate, and stadium environments, ensuring projects meet technical, budgetary, and time‑line expectations while delivering high‑impact visual solutions. Expactations: Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards; maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders; manage scope, risks, and changes proactively; lead and mentor project teams and external vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and execute the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and hand‑over. - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports. - Source and manage suppliers, subcontractors, and AV hardware/software vendors. - Oversee technical installation, testing, and quality assurance to meet client specifications and safety regulations. - Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, resolve issues, and manage scope changes. - Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and post‑implementation reviews. Required Skills: - 5+ years experience in AV/digital signage project management across diverse sectors. - Strong knowledge of AV architecture, video walls, LED displays, control systems, and related technologies. - Certified project management (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) highly preferred. - Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and RFQs. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, AV Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 Foundation/Agile certification (preferred).
