Job Description
**Job Title** DevOps Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Skilled DevOps professional responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments for a global SaaS platform. Ensures reliability, scalability, performance, and security across AWS and Azure ecosystems while collaborating with engineering, QA, and IT teams. **Expectations** - Hybrid work model (3 days on‑site). - Ability to work rotating shifts (morning, general, night) as required. - Drive automation, cost‑optimization (FinOps), and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and automate deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. - Implement infrastructure‑as‑code, monitoring, observability, and performance engineering solutions. - Design, deploy, and maintain container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). - Enhance deployment architecture for reliability and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and IT to ensure smooth releases and rapid issue resolution. - Define and enforce governance for deployment specifications, documentation, and environment configurations. - Troubleshoot complex deployment problems and lead process improvements. - Support backend services, Java applications, and database integrations (MySQL, Oracle). - Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics using Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana, ElasticSearch APM, etc. **Required Skills** - 5+ years DevOps experience in cloud‑native SaaS environments. - Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms. - Proficiency with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). - Hands‑on automation using Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Version control mastery (GitLab, GitHub, SVN, Bitbucket). - Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana, ElasticSearch APM). - Scripting languages: Python, Shell, Groovy, PowerShell. - Experience with Java deployments, Apache Tomcat, and HTTP servers. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
