**Job Title**
Functional Data Analyst
**Role Summary**
Design, model, and implement data architecture solutions for large-scale digital transformation projects. Lead data innovation initiatives, perform functional analysis, and translate business requirements into technical specifications while ensuring seamless stakeholder alignment.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 4‑5 years of hands‑on data and functional analysis in enterprise implementation projects.
- Proven experience with data modeling (classical and star schema), data change management, and data governance tools (MDM, metadata, data quality).
- Familiarity with CRM, BI reporting, portal environments, and GDPR compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, workshop facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluency in French or Dutch plus English; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments; capable of autonomous, solution‑oriented delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive data innovation through advanced data modeling, process improvement, and analytical techniques.
- Collect business and technical requirements, conduct gap analyses, and translate findings into actionable plans.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, test plans, and implementation guides for proposed solutions.
- Engage with business users and IT stakeholders across all levels to manage expectations, secure buy‑in, and foster trust.
- Mentor team members, coordinate workshops, and present findings to senior management and clients.
**Required Skills**
- Data analysis and functional design (CRM, marketing automation, sales force automation, dashboards, benchmarking).
- Data modeling (classical, star schema), data change management, and data quality assessment.
- Expertise in BI reporting tools, portal environments, and data governance frameworks.
- Proficient SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar).
- Agile project management (Scrum/SAFe), documentation, and testing capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills in French/Dutch/English.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Certifications in data modeling, CRM, BI, or Agile (e.g., PMI‑ACP, Certified ScrumMaster) are preferred but not mandatory.
