Job Description
**Job title:** Manager, Technology **Role Summary:** Lead the strategy, development, and operation of IT and OT technology across an integrated infrastructure of distribution lines, renewable generation, and customer services. Collaborate with executive leadership, business units, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that drive business value and compliance. **Expectations:** - Provide decisive, mentorship‑focused leadership for a high‑performance technology team. - Maintain stalwart oversight of cyber‑security, infrastructure, applications, and project delivery. - Align technology initiatives with business objectives, budgetary constraints, and industry best‑practice standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct end‑to‑end management of IT and OT cyber‑security programs, including risk assessment, incident response, and compliance (SOC, ISO, NIST). - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑wide IT/OT architecture, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and resiliency. - Lead the planning, deployment, and continuous enhancement of line‑of‑business and core applications, collaborating with owners on functional requirements. - Build and sustain a proactive service desk model focused on customer experience and data‑driven incident reduction. - Sponsor and track technology capital and operational budgets, ensuring cost‑effective procurement and lifecycle management. - Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance governance. - Oversee program and project delivery in partnership with the PMO, applying schedule, scope, and quality discipline. - Develop, review, and enforce technology policies, standards, and governance documents. - Mentor staff and cultivate professional growth, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. **Required Skills:** - Strong technical acumen in network, cloud, cybersecurity, and application architecture. - Proven experience in IT/OT infrastructure design and operations. - Leadership and people‑management skills with a collaborative, service‑oriented approach. - Project and program management expertise, including budgeting and resource planning. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities. - Adaptive problem‑solving mindset and a proactive vision for emerging technologies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Post‑graduate training or advanced certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
