Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Role Summary: Partner with developers, architects, and product owners to capture, validate, and translate business requirements into actionable solutions that enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth. Expactations: Deliver clear business artefacts (use cases, user stories, data models) in an agile environment, influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority, manage small‑scale project responsibilities, and participate actively in user acceptance and quality assurance activities. Key Responsibilities: - Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys. - Facilitate data analysis, modelling, and use‑case workshops. - Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories. - Collaborate with developers and architects to shape technical vision, assess trade‑offs, and evaluate solutions against business and financial criteria. - Engage internal/external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment and acceptance. - Support QA activities and lead User Acceptance Testing sessions with defined acceptance criteria. - Define project milestones, scope, and resource needs for small projects. - Champion continuous improvement practices within the team. Required Skills: - Proven experience in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban). - Strong business‑analysis proficiency (requirements capture, use cases, user stories). - Knowledge of data structures, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Ability to influence and lead without formal authority. - Detail‑oriented, highly organized, with strong time‑management and problem‑solving capabilities. - Continuous‑improvement mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. - Agile certification (CSM, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent) preferred.
