Job Description
**Job Title:** Wealth Management Summer Intern **Role Summary:** Paid, 10‑12‑week rotational internship providing hands‑on experience in a full‑service wealth management division. Intern spends ~50% working directly with the Chief Investment Officer on company research, security analysis, and investment projects, and the remainder rotating through financial planning, private banking, retirement plan services, business development, and operations. **Expactations:** - Deliver accurate client reporting and portfolio analysis. - Conduct market and investment research supporting senior staff. - Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. - Exhibit professionalism, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist CIO with equity/credit research, security valuation, and investment project documentation. - Rotate through functional areas to support financial planning, private banking, retirement services, business development, and operational tasks. - Prepare and update client reports, performance dashboards, and market commentary. - Participate in client meetings and interact with external asset managers. - Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, risk exposures, and opportunities. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; proficiency in Excel/financial modeling. - Effective written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly. - Research skills and attention to detail. - Team player with a proactive, self‑driven work ethic. - Basic knowledge of investment concepts, securities, and financial markets. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. - Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, investments, or economics. - No specific certifications required; pursuit of CFA or similar designation is a plus.
