**Job Title** Account Executive – Federal **Role Summary** Drive end‑to‑end federal sales to grow portfolio across U.S. government agencies. Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract award, leveraging AI, data, and analytics platform solutions. Build senior‑level relationships, navigate federal acquisition frameworks, and deliver measurable business outcomes. **Expectations** - Consistently meet or exceed federally defined sales targets and KPIs. - Close complex, high‑value (6–7 figure) deals within the federal marketplace. - Maintain an accurate, forecast‑ready pipeline in Salesforce or equivalent CRM. - Secure active security clearance or demonstrate ability to obtain one. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify, qualify, and win new federal customers across civilian, DoD, IC, and defense sectors. - Build and sustain executive relationships with program managers, contracting officers, CIOs, CTOs, and mission owners. - Translate agency challenges into AI‑driven solution proposals, delivering compelling value propositions within 30 seconds. - Develop and steward a qualified federal pipeline from awareness to funding. - Navigate and exploit federal acquisition vehicles (FAR/DFARS, IDIQs, BPAs, GWACs, SBIR/STTR, etc.). - Collaborate with government integrators, resellers, and strategic partners to accelerate pipeline velocity. - Lead proposal and RFP responses, ensuring alignment of pricing, positioning, and compliance. - Monitor federal budget cycles, program approvals, agency priorities, and competitor activity. - Maintain meticulous activity, pipeline, and forecasting data in CRM. **Required Skills** - 10+ years enterprise or federal sales experience, with a proven record of 6–7 figure federal deals. - Deep knowledge of federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and acquisition regulations. - Existing relationships with federal agencies, integrators, or prime contractors. - Strong communication, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation skills. - Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder deals from concept to contract. - Experience selling AI, data, analytics, SaaS, or emerging technology solutions to government. - Familiarity with DoD, IC, DHS, or civilian agency buying patterns. - Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). - Active or attainable U.S. security clearance. - Federal contracting certifications (e.g., GSA Schedule, MWBE) are advantageous but not mandatory.
