Job Title: Salesforce Administrator Business Support Consultant
Role Summary:
Provide strategic Salesforce administration and business support to enable cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Act as an advisory resource for business planning, data analysis, process improvement, and agile product lifecycle management.
Expectations:
• Deliver high‑quality Salesforce configuration, maintenance, and reporting.
• Facilitate project coordination and stakeholder communication across departments.
• Analyze data to inform business decisions and recommend improvements.
• Support budgeting, contract review, and financial reporting.
• Maintain agile practices and contribute to product development cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, customize, and manage Salesforce orgs, including data migration, automation (Flows, Process Builder), security, and user support.
- Produce management reports, dashboards, and statistical analyses using Excel, Tableau, and Salesforce reporting tools.
- Coordinate projects: define scope, develop resource plans, monitor timelines, and report status to leadership.
- Develop and maintain budgets (capital, expense, staffing) and track variances.
- Draft business proposals, promotional materials, and communication documents.
- Review contract terms, assist with negotiations, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Identify process gaps, design solutions, and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- Deliver training and onboarding for new staff on Salesforce and business processes.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and support sprint planning and reviews.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce Platform Administration (user management, security, automation, data management).
- Agile product ownership (SAFE or equivalent).
- SQL querying and database concepts.
- Tableau data visualization.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Project planning and management.
- Budgeting and financial reporting.
- Contract negotiation and review.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Presentation skills for all organization levels.
- Conflict resolution and problem‑solving techniques (flow charting, nominal group technique).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (college coursework acceptable for entry).
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (mandatory).
- SAFE Agile Product Owner Certification (preferred).
- Salesforce AI Specialist Certification (preferred).
- Tableau Desktop Specialist (preferred).
- SQL certification or equivalent experience (preferred).
