Job Description

**Job Title:** Engine Test Cell Technician **Role Summary:** Support the Hot Fire Test teams across multiple engine test cells by maintaining, preparing, and decommissioning test sites. This includes pre‑test site setup, ongoing maintenance, and post‑test tear‑down activities to ensure safe, reliable testing operations. **Expectations:** - Perform routine site upkeep and emergency repairs. - Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and testing setups. - Conduct post‑test site restoration and cleanup. - Adhere strictly to safety and operational protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain test cell infrastructure and equipment. - Assist in the setup and take‑down of test rigs and associated instrumentation. - Perform site inspections, minor repairs, and tool/equipment checklists. - Coordinate with Hot Fire Test teams on scheduling and logistics. - Ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., fire, electrical, and hazardous material controls). **Required Skills:** - Mechanical aptitude and basic welding/bolt‑torque knowledge. - Familiarity with fire test protocols and safety regulations. - Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and work orders. - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field preferred. - OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or equivalent safety training). - Electrical wiring or HVAC certification advantageous.
