Job Description

Job title: Software Development Engineer – Embedded Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software for industrial systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and control algorithms into autonomous or robotic platforms. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code; conduct unit, integration, and system validation; participate in continuous integration workflows; produce clear technical documentation and reports; contribute to product design, simulation, and algorithm optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and integrate embedded software for various subsystems, implementing communication with sensors, actuators, and hardware interfaces. • Design, simulate, and test control, localization, sensor fusion, and autonomous navigation algorithms. • Write and maintain unit and functional tests; validate system behavior and document test results. • Integrate new code into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment to target devices. • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to resolve integration and performance issues. Required Skills: • Proficiency in C, C++, Python; experience with ROS2; knowledge of Matlab/Simulink. • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (CAN, UDP/TCP). • Experience with embedded systems development and real‑time operating systems. • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and code review practices. • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize embedded software performance. Required Education & Certifications: • Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Robotics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Professional certifications in embedded systems or software development (e.g., Certified LabVIEW Developer, ROS Certification) are advantageous.
