Job Description: Job Title: Expert Software Engineer (C++ / C#) F/H Role Summary: Design, enhance, and maintain high‑performance C++ and C# components for a Windows desktop decision‑support application used by investment professionals. Drive end‑to‑end technical delivery—from data persistence and calculation engines to server interactions and UI components—ensuring robustness, scalability, and code quality. Expectations: Deliver clean, well‑tested code with a focus on performance and memory efficiency. Work autonomously while collaborating effectively within an international team. Apply best practices, design patterns, and automated testing (TDD preferred). Key Responsibilities - Architect, develop, and refactor C++ (C++17/C++20) and C# modules for investment goal tracking, exposure monitoring, and hedging mechanisms. - Own the full technical stack: data persistence, computation engines, server communication, and desktop UI. - Ensure code robustness, performance, scalability, and adherence to quality standards. - Optimize memory usage and execution times across all components. - Implement automated tests, continuous integration, and code reviews. - Contribute to a clear, efficient user experience for professional traders. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams while maintaining self‑direction. Required Skills - 10+ years of professional software development experience. - Deep expertise in C++ (C++17/C++20) and C#. - Proven track record in desktop application development. - Strong problem‑solving abilities and technical autonomy. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and PowerShell scripting. - Advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle) and experience with asynchronous/multi‑thread programming. - Proficiency with DevExpress WinForms or MFC (preferred). - Understanding of financial systems such as OMS, portfolio management, risk, and hedging. - Interest in generative AI technologies (preferred). Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - No mandatory certifications, but relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, C++ certifications) are advantageous.
