**Job Title** Senior Sales Manager **Role Summary** Foundational sales leadership role focused on building, scaling, and coaching an outbound B2B SMB sales team to drive repeatable revenue from an AI‑powered product. **Expectations** - Hire, onboard, and lead a high‑energy team of 5–8 sales reps. - Design, iterate, and document AI‑sales playbooks. - Translate early traction into a scalable revenue engine. - Serve as a player‑coach through hands‑on sales calls and strategy sessions. - Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, RevOps, and People to align GTM execution. **Key Responsibilities** - Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high‑performance outbound sales team. - Define and refine sales processes and playbooks for selling AI solutions to small‑business owners. - Drive pipeline generation, conversion, and revenue growth from early ARR ($1M+) to sustained growth. - Lead by example, joining calls, providing territory coaching, and shaping strategy. - Measure and report on performance metrics; adjust tactics based on data. - Partner with cross‑functional teams (Product, Marketing, RevOps, People) to ensure coherent GTM strategy and execution. - Scale operations, including forecasting, quota setting, and resource allocation. **Required Skills** - 5–8+ years of high‑velocity outbound B2B SMB sales experience. - 3+ years of proven people‑leadership and scaling a sales team. - Ability to build and document sales processes from scratch. - Deep understanding of SMB buyer psychology and ability to sell to non‑technical owners. - Strong communication skills for explaining AI‑enabled products in practical terms. - Metrics‑driven mindset with track record of coaching to performance outcomes. - Player‑coach mentality, detail‑oriented, process‑mindful, comfortable in scrappy environments. - Curiosity about leveraging AI tools to enhance sales execution and productivity. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or related field. ---
