Job Title: Jewelry CAD Design Intern Role Summary: Support the Product Design & Development team by applying CAD and technical drawing skills to transform concepts into manufacturing‑ready designs, while gaining exposure to jewelry production workflows. Expactations: Collaborate across departments, complete assigned tasks (sketching, CAD modeling, resin prep, sample runs), develop a portfolio piece through the full design-to-sale process, and maintain a proactive, detail‑oriented work ethic. Key Responsibilities: - Observe and learn PD&D manufacturing processes and procedures. - Execute tasks such as 2D sketching, 3D CAD modeling, resin preparation, sample fabrication, and organization of design files. - Adapt task assignments to individual skill sets and department needs. - Produce a complete portfolio piece that follows the company’s design-to-sale workflow. Required Skills: - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (MatrixGold, Rhino, or equivalent). - Detail‑oriented, creative problem‑solving, and strong organizational habits. - Basic Microsoft Office and email etiquette. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
