Product Designer (Mobile)
**Role Summary**
Shape and ship a high‑frequency mobile experience for an elite‑user lifestyle platform, working directly with the CTO and founding product lead. Own the end‑to‑end design flow—from problem discovery and concept through interaction design, visual polish, and production‑ready handoff—while helping define a robust design system and driving premium usability standards.
**Expectations**
- Design products from first principles, crafting elegant solutions for complex workflows.
- Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate to deliver production‑ready designs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and research teams; influence both look and function.
- Establish and maintain a scalable design system, components, and interaction patterns.
- Lead design decisions that align with the company’s high‑leverage, user‑centric principles.
- Mentor junior designers and set the bar for design quality; potential growth to senior or executive design roles.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own the design lifecycle for mobile features across travel, dining, experiences, luxury goods, and longevity.
- Conduct user research and problem interviews; translate insights into user flows and wireframes.
- Create high‑fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications for developers.
- Iterate designs based on usability testing, analytics, and stakeholder feedback.
- Build and evolve a design system that supports consistency and scalability across the product.
- Partner with engineering to ensure seamless implementation and high‑quality user experience.
- Foster design thinking culture, encouraging experimentation, challenge of assumptions, and ownership.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of product design experience with shipped consumer products.
- Proven mastery of UX, UI, interaction design, and visual polish.
- Ability to deconstruct complex workflows into clear, elegant experiences.
- Strong systems‑thinking; experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, startup / zero‑to‑one environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proficient in design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.) and prototyping techniques.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in UX/UI design or design systems (preferred but not mandatory).
