La Société des Neurosciences est une association scientifique à but non lucratif, régie par la loi de 1901. Elle a pour but - de promouvoir le développement des recherches dans tous les domaines des neurosciences. - de favoriser les interactions entre chercheurs de tous horizons. - de contribuer à l’animation et au développement de l’activité scientifique, la diffusion des connaissances scientifiques dans le cadre de l’éducation, de la formation des jeunes chercheurs et de l’information du public. La Société des Neurosciences accompagne les jeunes chercheurs en leur attribuant un certain nombre de Prix. Elle coordonne tous les ans la Semaine du Cerveau et organise tous les deux ans son colloque, NeuroFrance, qui réunit environ 1 300 participants. Elle participe à la vie scientifique internationale et au rayonnement de la recherche effectuée dans les pays francophones en s’associant aux sociétés scientifiques internationales - Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), International Brain Research Organisation (IBRO) - et en menant, à l'international, des actions conjointes avec les autres associations scientifiques thématiques ou nationales.

Job Description
Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher – Neonatal/Fetal EEG & OPM MEG Role Summary: Conduct cutting‑edge research on multimodal neuroimaging (EEG, MEG, OPM, NIRS) in pregnant women, neonates, and children to characterize spontaneous and auditory brain activity across developmental stages. Develop data acquisition protocols, signal‑processing algorithms, and analytical pipelines; collaborate across multidisciplinary teams at INSERM, CEA, MAG4HEALTH, and Tübingen. Expectations: * 12‑month fully funded position with possibility of renewal. * Deliver novel analysis methods, publish peer‑reviewed papers, and present findings at national/international conferences. * Act as project lead for day‑to‑day tasks: participant recruitment, data collection, quality assurance, and dissemination. Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement EEG‑MEG/OPM data‑analysis workflows tailored to fetal, neonatal, and pediatric populations. * Manage participant recruitment and consent procedures in clinical settings. * Coordinate data acquisition using fMEG‑OPM Helium setup, high‑density EEG, and NIRS instruments. * Perform preprocessing, artifact rejection, source‑localization, and statistical modeling of neural signals. * Interpret developmental patterns of spontaneous activity and auditory responses. * Author and review manuscripts, grant reports, and conference abstracts. * Mentor junior staff/lab members and facilitate collaboration across consortia. Required Skills: * PhD in signal processing, applied mathematics, computer science, or closely related field. * Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience analyzing neural data. * Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python scripting for data analysis. * Strong programming and algorithm‑design abilities; experience with data‑fusion techniques. * Knowledge of cryogenic/OPM magnetoencephalography advantageous. * Familiarity with multimodal neuroimaging platforms (MEG, EEG, NIRS). * Excellent written and oral communication, ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Education & Certifications: * PhD (driven). * No additional certifications required; expertise in neuroimaging software and statistical analysis is essential.
