**Job Title** Sales Engineer (Solution Consultant / Presale) **Role Summary** Engage with commercial, product and CSM teams to drive sales cycles by understanding client business, environmental, and digital challenges. Design and deliver tailored pre‑sale solutions, translate value propositions into clear messaging, and support proposal development and presentation of product demonstrations. Operate in French and English with international prospects. **Expectations** - 1–5 years of pre‑sale experience in software sales, distribution, or integration. - Strong communication and writing skills, with a customer‑centric mindset. - Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and French. - Curiosity and analytical ability to grasp new technical, environmental, or carbon accounting concepts. - Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, start‑up environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success to identify client pain points and priorities. - Design and conduct product demonstrations that highlight the environmental impact and business value. - Translate complex value propositions (carbon trajectories, project footprints, digital product footprints) into concise, persuasive messaging. - Prepare sales collateral, argument sets, and demo environments. - Provide input on offers, proposals, and respond to limited RFP work. - Advise clients on best practices, use cases, and road‑maps. - Engage with French and English‑speaking prospects throughout the sales cycle. **Required Skills** - Proven pre‑sale / solution consulting experience in the software sector. - Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English. - Ability to refine demonstrations and adapt them to diverse client needs. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Knowledge of IT governance, digital transformation, and enterprise IT operations. - Interest and/or knowledge of environmental accounting (Carbon Footprint, LCA), Green IT, or related fields. - Familiarity with PaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, OutSystems) is a plus. - Self‑motivated, structured, and client‑focused. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Sustainability, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., sales, product, or sustainability) are desirable but not mandatory.
