Job Description
Job Title: Head of Talent Management Role Summary: Lead all talent acquisition and management functions for a professional services firm on a 12‑month fixed term contract. Design strategies, manage budgets, and oversee the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle while ensuring compliance with UK employment law and GDPR. Expectations: Proactive, resilient, and collaborative. Deliver results under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities independently, and provide a high‑quality candidate experience. Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and hiring managers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and evolve recruitment and talent management strategies aligned with business goals. - Plan and execute strategic recruitment for multiple service lines, including executive search. - Manage the full hiring process: advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, and offer negotiation. - Own the recruitment budget, track spend, report ROI, and apply commercial discipline. - Support teams on attrition management and career path planning. - Lead market data analysis and assist with annual remuneration reviews. - Oversee talent marketing initiatives: career website, job boards, social media, and employer branding. - Ensure compliance with employment legislation and GDPR at all stages. - Report recruitment performance metrics to leadership. Required Skills: - Proven experience in talent acquisition within professional services or similar complex environments. - Background in agency or executive search. - Strong knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR. - Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management. - Outstanding organisational and multitasking capabilities. - High attention to detail and quality standards. - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and intermediate MS Office. - Team‑player attitude with a customer‑centric focus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. - Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Levels 3–5, SHRM-C, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.
