Job Description: **Job Title** Financial Accountant **Role Summary** Provide accurate, timely financial information for a multi‑site hospitality business on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. Deliver management accounts, dashboards, cost centre analysis, and support audit and regulatory reporting while partnering with finance and operational teams to enhance financial controls and processes. **Expectations** * Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. * Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, board and external stakeholders. * Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency. * Manage fixed‑cost areas, balance‑sheet reconciliations and fixed‑asset register maintenance. **Key Responsibilities** * Compile and analyze periodic management accounts, variance analysis and budget commentary. * Produce daily/weekly performance reports and dashboards for operational teams. * Provide cost‑centre reporting with focus on fixed costs and staffing. * Support senior management and board with accurate, well‑presented financial information. * Reconcile balance sheets, maintain fixed‑asset register, and prepare quarterly banking/covenant reports. * Assist audit processes, information requests and liaise with external suppliers. * Collaborate with finance colleagues to understand end‑to‑end accounting processes. * Serve as primary finance contact for central support teams and operational stakeholders. * Contribute to group or consolidated statutory reporting packs where required. **Required Skills** * ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant. * Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience. * Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting. * Ability to prepare management accounts, variance analysis and commentary. * Proficiency in creating performance dashboards and KPI reports. * Knowledge of fixed‑cost management and cost‑centre reporting. * Experience in audit support and regulatory reporting. * Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. * Ability to improve processes and work effectively in a multi‑site environment. **Required Education & Certifications** * ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification. * At least one year of post‑qualification experience. * Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
