**Job title:** Junior Salesforce Developer
**Role Summary:**
Entry‑level Salesforce developer supporting public‑health government clients (local, tribal, state, or federal). Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions that address agency workflows and data needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary consulting teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce customizations (Apex, Lightning components, Flows, Visualforce).
- Configure standard objects, fields, validation rules, reports, and dashboards to meet agency requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., APIs, data warehouses) using declarative tools or code.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with public‑health officials and translate needs into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution; maintain documentation of solutions and processes.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and import activities.
- Assist senior developers and project leads with solution architecture and best‑practice guidance.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and client training as needed.
**Required Skills:**
- 1‑2 years hands‑on experience with Salesforce platform (custom objects, Apex, Lightning, Flows).
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model, security (profiles, permission sets), and reporting.
- Basic programming concepts; ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external APIs or data sources.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a consulting environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- Understanding of public‑health agency processes or prior experience in a governmental public‑health role.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health (with technical focus), or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred (or equivalent Salesforce credential).
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator) considered a plus.
