Job Description
**Job Title** Data & BI Manager (Male/Female) **Role Summary** Lead the strategic development and execution of the organization’s Data and Business Intelligence strategy. Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data projects, from roadmap design through build and operational maintenance, while managing a growing team of Data/BI consultants and ensuring alignment with business objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable business value through robust data solutions. - Foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture. - Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on data architecture and technology trends. **Key Responsibilities** - Define, prioritize, and execute the Data/BI roadmap aligned with corporate strategy. - Align IT delivery with operational needs, ensuring clear communication across functions. - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data/BI consultants; set clear goals and promote skill growth. - Manage Build (project execution) and Run (platform operation) activities: schedule adherence, quality control, budget management, and scope enforcement. - Supervise platform uptime, corrective maintenance, and incremental enhancements. - Design and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. - Define, monitor, and refine performance indicators and dashboards. - Maintain relationships with external partners, service providers, and consultants. - Conduct continuous technology scouting (cloud, big data, BI tools) and recommend architectural improvements. **Required Skills** - Strategic vision coupled with operational execution. - Deep expertise in Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI. - Proven experience leading Big Data transformations and cloud migrations. - Strong knowledge of data warehouse, data lake, and dimensional modeling concepts. - Solid understanding of data governance principles. - Leadership in a distributed/remote team environment. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Analytical mindset with strong synthesis ability. - Results‑oriented, organized, and detail‑focusing. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (MIAGE or equivalent). - Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, BI certifications) are preferred. - Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in data and BI roles, including team leadership.
