Job title: Ad Sales Specialist
Role Summary:
Drive and optimize paid advertising initiatives across sponsored search, display, and branded channels to increase brand visibility, traffic, and revenue. Manage end‑to‑end campaign execution, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration while building scalable processes for the UK ad business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day ad operations, including placement, spend tracking, performance monitoring, and revenue reporting for sponsored search, display, and branded campaigns.
- Partner with brands to plan, launch, and optimize advertising programs that drive visibility and sales.
- Align ad spend with category growth goals by collaborating with Category Managers and Merchandising teams.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track ROI, uncover trends, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Expand vendor engagement: pitch opportunities, negotiate budgets, and secure higher brand investment.
- Support strategic initiatives such as branded bags, sampling, and co‑marketing activations.
- Contribute to the scaling of Gopuff’s UK ad business by shaping structure, tools, and playbooks.
Required Skills:
- 2‑3 years of experience in commerce, media, FMCG, or retail advertising (e.g., retail media, CPG trade marketing, e‑commerce partnerships).
- Proficiency with revenue data, dashboards, and performance reporting tools.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Prior experience managing brand relationships or ad accounts, ideally in CPG or e‑commerce environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Self‑starter attitude with comfort in fast‑paced, ambiguous settings.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Advertising, or Data Analytics) are desirable but not mandatory.
