**Job Title**: Software Developer Co-op **Role Summary**: Full-stack developer co-op student to contribute to a global cross-border banking platform for businesses. Focus on building and maintaining core platform features while collaborating with product and engineering teams in a high-growth FinTech environment. **Expectations**: Full-time onsite role (5 days/week) for Canadian-registered students pursuing a tech-related bachelor’s degree. Requires prior production engineering experience and ownership of software deliverables. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain dashboard features for the banking platform. - Implement front-end and backend logic for business-critical functionality. - Conduct code reviews and debug production issues across service layers. - Collaborate with product managers and senior developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions. - Optimize frontend performance and ensure compliance with modern web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6). **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, GraphQL, Apollo, React Native, Ruby on Rails. - Experience with frontend/backend development, automated testing frameworks, and browser APIs. - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and Git workflows. - Problem-solving orientation and adaptability to new technologies. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Enrolled in a Canadian university or college. - Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field. - Minimum prior co-op/internship experience in software development required.
