Job Description: **Job Title** Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for production systems. Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt, develop CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, reliability, and cost efficiency. **Expectations** * 5+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering. * Proven experience in AWS and IaC. * Strong Python scripting for automation. * Ability to manage multi‑account environments and maintain documentation. * Fully remote with occasional travel for collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** * Architect and maintain AWS infrastructure across accounts with Terraform/Terragrunt. * Own IaC patterns, module design, and enforce environment consistency. * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments (GitHub Actions preferred). * Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to incidents in production systems. * Partner with application, data, and platform teams to resolve infrastructure and reliability challenges. * Automate operational tasks using Python and other scripting. * Implement cost‑optimization strategies, security controls, and compliance monitoring. * Document infrastructure designs, runbooks, and best practices. **Required Skills** * AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM). * Terraform + Terragrunt expertise. * CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent). * Python scripting for automation. * Monitoring & observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). * Incident response and root‑cause analysis. * Security‑first mindset and cost‑optimization knowledge. * Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. * Familiarity with Multi‑Region/Account governance and tagging/Centralized billing. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience). * AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional. * Terraform Associate certification (preferred).
