Job Description: Job title: Software Engineer (Founding Engineer) Role Summary: Founding engineer responsible for architecting and building core backend and agent‑based infrastructure powering a two‑sided AI‑video marketplace, including contests, submissions, rankings, payouts, and AI tool integrations. Works closely with founders to set product direction and technical strategy. Expectations: - Deliver production‑quality, scalable systems from ground up. - Own end‑to‑end components of the marketplace and data pipelines. - Rapid iteration, high ownership, and proactive problem solving. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services for contests, submissions, and payouts. - Build and evolve AI‑agent systems coordinating brand and creator data. - Integrate with AI video tools, models, and creator workflows. - Collaborate with founders on architecture, product strategy, and technical roadmap. - Produce clean, well‑tested code and documentation; ensure system reliability and performance. Required Skills: - Strong backend engineering (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, Java). - Experience with microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, database design (SQL/NoSQL). - Expertise in building scalable, highly available systems. - Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, message queues, and data pipelines. - Knowledge of AI/ML integration (model serving, inference pipelines). - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.
