Job Description
Job Title: Associate Level Financial Inclusion / Development Finance Consultant Role Summary: Provide technical and project support to development finance consulting initiatives across North & sub‑Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Prepare responses to international tenders, coordinate project activities, and serve as a subject‑matter expert on financial inclusion, MSME, climate/green finance, and impact investments under the direction of the managing director. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality, timely tender proposals and technical documents. - Maintain project milestones, budgets, and stakeholder communications. - Offer consultancy services as needed, demonstrating deep knowledge in one or more development finance domains. Key Responsibilities: - Research, write and submit proposals for international calls for tender. - Monitor project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and quality standards. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams, facilitating collaboration between consultants, partners, and clients. - Contribute to project design, analysis, and reporting for development finance programs. - Build and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, regulators, and development institutions. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with rigorous, autonomous work style. - Excellent oral and written communication in French and English. - Project management skills: budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder coordination. - Knowledge of financial inclusion, MSME finance, and related development finance practices. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Banking, Corporate Finance, Development Economics, or related field. - Minimum 3 years overall experience with at least 2 years in one of the following: Financial Inclusion, MSME Finance, Gender Finance, Youth Inclusion, Climate Finance, Green Finance, Impact Investments. - Prior experience in a consultancy, development bank, or investment fund is a plus.
