**Job Title**: Project Manager – EMEA (Africa Focus)
**Role Summary**
Lead and coordinate security, advisory, and project management activities across African markets for a global organization. Provide operational oversight, client engagement, risk assessment, and commercial support while collaborating with internal teams and international partners.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality advisory outputs and security plans in French and English.
- Execute and monitor projects, budgets, and reporting in alignment with regional strategy.
- Support crisis management, business development, and stakeholder representation.
- Adapt to complex, high‑risk environments with frequent travel across African sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Draft thematic and geographic notes, reports, and proposal content (FR/EN).
- Review and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Participate in international tenders and contract negotiations.
- Conduct safety evaluations, audits, diagnostics, and risk‑management plans.
- Manage contracts with international institutions and coordinate project teams.
- Track project budgets, deliverable status, and operational reports.
- Assist in crisis management, hotline operations, and after‑action reviews.
- Contribute to proposal writing, client negotiations, and cross‑department coordination.
- Represent the organization at conferences, chambers of commerce, and forums.
- Engage with diplomatic missions, international organizations, and local partners.
- Travel extensively within Africa, operating safely in varied cultures and security contexts.
**Required Skills**
- Fluency in French (C2) and English (B2 minimum); additional African languages a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, writing, and editing capabilities.
- Project leadership experience and familiarity with international security environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; adaptable to multicultural settings.
- Resilience, autonomy, and strong sense of responsibility.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security/Risk Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Africa (academic, field, or consultancy).
- Demonstrated exposure to security‑heavy and international contexts; experience with international institutions is advantageous.
