Job title: Commercial Engineer – B2B IT & Cloud Solutions
Role Summary: Drive sales of cybersecurity, cloud, telecom, and IT infrastructure solutions to SMEs, municipalities, and mid‑market companies in Auvergne Rhône‑Alpes and PACA, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closing and account maintenance.
Expectations: Achieve quarterly sales targets, expand the client portfolio, and maintain high customer satisfaction while collaborating with pre‑sales, project managers, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities across the region.
- Build and nurture a local network of influencers, prescribers, decision‑makers, and partners.
- Conduct client needs assessments and design tailored solution proposals.
- Lead commercial negotiations, address objections, and secure signed agreements.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, ensuring post‑sale satisfaction and renewal opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless onboarding and support.
- Report on sales pipeline, forecast, and results to management.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in IT, telecom, or digital services.
- Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and associated business benefits.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in French and English.
- Autonomy, organizational discipline, and a results‑driven mindset.
- Comfortable with field work, team collaboration, and a small‑team environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry‑related certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar) are an advantage but not mandatory.
