Job Description
Job Title Applications Manager – Financial Control Systems (F/M) Role Summary Lead technical and functional oversight of financial control applications within the IT Finance domain, ensuring seamless operation, continuous improvement, and alignment with performance management objectives. Drive solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support for SAP S/4 Finance & Control modules and SAC Planning, while collaborating with finance, business, and IT stakeholders. Expectations - Deliver high-quality application solutions that meet business requirements and maintain system stability. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Demonstrate initiative, analytical rigor, and a proactive approach to modernization of the IT landscape. Key Responsibilities - Analyze and assess feasibility of new feature requests and process enhancements. - Design functional and technical specifications, including business rules, flows, interfaces, and configurations. - Participate in development, testing, user acceptance, and production rollout activities, coordinating with external service providers as needed. - Provide level 2/3 application support, troubleshooting incidents, data issues, and integration problems. - Maintain application documentation, ensuring it reflects current configurations and best practices. - Monitor application performance, reliability, and quality metrics; report on service levels and improvement initiatives. - Build and sustain productive relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners. Required Skills - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Expertise in SQL, Talend, relational databases, and application configuration. - In‑depth knowledge of SAP S/4 Finance and Controlling modules; mandatory SAC Planning (budgeting & forecasting) proficiency. - Experience in application lifecycle management (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment). - Proven ability to manage support incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and synthesis skills. - Organizational, autonomous, and proactive mindset with a collaborative team orientation. **Job Title** Finance IT Applications Lead – Accounting (F/M) **Role Summary** Lead the supervision, evolution, and quality of finance applications within a transforming IT environment. Serve as the technical‑functional referent for one or more application systems, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end operation from design to production, in partnership with finance, development, architecture, and external vendors. **Expectations** - Deliver functional and technical feasibility assessments for new requirements. - Bridge business needs with technical solutions, challenging and refining user requests. - Own the application lifecycle: design, development, testing, production deployment, and team‑oriented support. - Maintain high application stability, performance, and documentation standards. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service partners. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyse completeness and feasibility of finance‑related requirements (functional & technical). - Design functional and technico‑functional specifications (rules, flows, interfaces, parameters). - Participate in development, testing, user acceptance, and production release (directly or by overseeing external contractors). - Provide level 2/3 support, diagnosing and resolving incidents involving data, flows, and integrations. - Ensure application quality, maintainability, operability, and comprehensive reference documentation. - Foster operational relationships with technical teams, vendors, and service providers. - Monitor application metrics, prepare reports, and supply KPI insights to the domain manager. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in finance IT system supervision and enhancement (retail‑sector preferred). - Strong technical acumen: SQL, Talend, relational databases. - Mandatory expertise in SAP S/4 Finance module. - Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical cases. - Excellent written and verbal communication, synthesis, and documentation skills. - Self‑driven, organized, proactive, and a collaborative facilitator. - Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders and adapting communication style. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac + 3) or higher in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. - SAP S/4 Finance certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
