Job title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary: DevOps Engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling full‑stack production systems (billing, authentication, onboarding, integrations) for an AI‑powered hardware platform. Focus on reliability, observability, incident response, and developer tooling across GCP, AWS, and Firebase. Expactations: - Deliver production features impacting all users. - Achieve high availability and low latency for all services. - Maintain SLOs/SLIs, alerting, and on‑call procedures. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Improve reliability, availability, and operational health of production systems. - Define and enforce observability standards (metrics, logs, error tracking). - Set up SLOs/SLIs, alerting, and on‑call readiness with high signal quality. - Design resilient systems with partners to reduce operational risk early. - Build internal tooling to enhance system safety, debugging, and developer velocity. - Manage infrastructure using Pulumi on GCP, AWS, and Firebase. Required Skills: - 5+ years SRE/DevOps or production operations experience. - Proven ability to operate and scale production systems meeting uptime/latency goals. - Hands‑on experience with observability stacks (Datadog, Sentry, or similar). - Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and building effective alerting strategies. - Proficiency in CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.). - Strong knowledge of cloud-native and serverless platforms (GCP, AWS). - Cross‑system debugging and incident response expertise. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ---
