Job Description

**Job Title:** Project Manager **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end delivery of integrated packaging projects for food and beverage clients, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Serve as the primary liaison among cross‑functional teams, customers, and suppliers, utilizing project management tools and CAD systems to drive successful outcomes and customer satisfaction. **Expectations:** - Autonomously manage multiple concurrent projects with remote work capability. - Maintain strict adherence to contractual obligations, budgets, and timelines. - Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular status reports and final sign‑offs. - Travel on short notice to client sites, including the USA, with valid passport and driver’s license. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and control project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. - Use MS Project/Smartsheet and Microsoft Office to track progress and generate reports. - Review and update AutoCAD/SolidWorks drawings; collaborate with engineering on design concepts. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams and on‑site crews to deliver high‑quality results. - Manage contract terms, vendor coordination, and accurate customer billing. - Serve as subject‑matter expert on Descon products, suppliers, and market competitors. - Attend client job sites as required and support site services delivery. **Required Skills:** - Proven project lifecycle management (initiation to completion) – minimum 5 years, preferably in manufacturing/packaging. - Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet) and Excel. - Strong risk management, problem‑solving, and change‑request handling. - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder and client‑facing experience. - Ability to read AutoCAD drawings (asset) and coordinate cross‑functional teams. - Strong organizational, time‑management, and detail‑orientation. - Willingness to travel; valid passport and driver’s license. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Project Management degree is a plus. - PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. - Relevant industry experience in food and beverage packaging considered a strong asset.
