**Job Title:** SoC Solutions Architect – PCIe/CXL/UAL/DMA
**Role Summary:** Senior architect responsible for designing and defining the I/O subsystems of next‑generation SoCs for embedded, AI/ML, data center, automotive, aerospace, and communications platforms. Focus on PCIe, CXL, UAL, and DMA interfaces, ensuring modular, scalable architectures across chiplet, monolithic, and 3D form factors.
**Expectations:**
- Lead end‑to‑end architecture design and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with customers, product planning, IP architects, and design/verification teams.
- Deliver high‑quality architecture that meets performance, power, area, and schedule targets.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive SoC architecture with emphasis on I/O subsystems.
- Define PCIe/CXL/UAL and DMA architectures, including interactions with embedded processors, NoC, memory controllers, and FPGA fabric.
- Create flexible, modular I/O subsystem designs for multiple packaging options.
- Scope SoC requirements, analyze PPA trade‑offs, and set architectural constraints.
- Outline hardware, software, and firmware interactions for I/O subsystems.
- Author clear architecture specifications and guides.
- Support pre‑silicon verification and post‑silicon validation activities.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in SoC and I/O architecture, especially PCIe and PCIe‑DMA engines.
- Strong knowledge of PCIe protocol specifications and optional features.
- Experience with embedded computing domains (aerospace, defense, data‑center, networking, automotive).
- Understanding of processor‑to‑chiplet interfaces (x86, RISC‑V, ARM) and interconnects (AXI, PCIe).
- Knowledge of bridging, ordering rules, and protocol enforcement.
- Familiarity with ARM processors, AXI interconnects, FPGA, AI/ML accelerators, boot, security, debug, telemetry, RAS.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- No specific certifications required; domain knowledge and technical experience are mandatory.
