About the Company

ECO-MED est un bureau d'études, d'expertise et de conseil en environnement naturel spécifiques à l’aménagement du territoire et à la mise en valeur des milieux naturels. Il intervient depuis l’année 2003 auprès d'aménageurs, d'industriels et d'organismes publics. Les activités d’ECO-MED s’articulent autour de 4 champs d’actions majeurs : 1. L’expertise et le conseil écologique : l’expertise des écosystèmes (faune, flore et habitats) et de leur fonctionnalité est au cœur de notre activité. Cela comprend les inventaires naturalistes, le diagnostic écologique et fonctionnel, le suivi et la veille écologique (sites, espèces). 2. L'assistance technique et scientifique : elle intervient pour la mise en place et le suivi de projets. Cela comprend l’évaluation environnementale de projets, la planification et la coordination de mesures d’intégration compatibles avec les enjeux écologiques des espaces naturels concernés et les audits de chantier. 3. La médiation scientifique et technique : mise à disposition des connaissances d’ECO-MED afin d’accompagner les clients dans la réalisation de leurs projets d’aménagement, de développement du territoire, de conservation et de gestion des milieux naturels. 4. La formation : de part son expérience et ses connaissances, ECO-MED participe à des conférences et des colloques, en France comme à l’international. ECO-MED intervient également lors de formations professionnelles et universitaires, théoriques ou pratiques.

**Job Title:** Expert Botanist (M/F) **Role Summary:** Lead field inventories and habitat mapping of Mediterranean vascular flora, conduct ecological assessments, develop conservation and management measures, and deliver technical reports for environmental projects. **Expectations:** - Minimum Bac+3 in Biology, Ecology, or equivalent. - Demonstrated experience in a research or consultancy office setting. - In‑depth knowledge of southeastern French vascular plant flora and associated ecosystems (systematics, biogeography, ecology). - Proficiency with GIS platforms (QGIS) and familiarity with CORINE, EUNIS, EUR28 classification systems. - Strong report‑writing and data‑analysis skills. **Key Responsibilities:** 1.
