Job Title: Senior Finance Data Analyst
Role Summary:
Drive the reliability, consistency, and quality of financial and operational reporting data across the group. Oversee monthly data consolidation, ensure adherence to IFRS/USALI standards, and deliver insightful dashboards to management and external partners. Act as a data governance champion, improving internal and external data flows and guiding teams on best practices, while collaborating with finance, IT, data, and operations functions.
Expectations:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance departments or audit firms, with comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting processes.
- Strong data culture and proven track record in consolidating, structuring, and presenting complex financial information.
- Operational fluency in English; ability to communicate across global teams.
- Self‑driven, organized, pedagogical, and comfortable working in a fast‑changing, project‑heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly extraction, validation, and transmission of group‑wide financial and operational data, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Consolidate and harmonize data into reporting frameworks and Power BI dashboards for senior management and financing partners.
- Continuously optimize data pipelines and reporting tools, enhancing system performance and data accuracy.
- Participate in data transformation initiatives and adopt emerging analytical tools (Power BI, Alteryx, AI).
- Train, mentor, and support finance and cross‑functional teams on data standards, methodologies, and governance practices.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in financial data consolidation, financial statements, and compliance with IFRS/USALI.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data transformation tools (Alteryx or equivalent).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and data governance awareness.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and instructional abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and adapt to evolving priorities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized business school, engineering school, or university (Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CBAP) are a plus but not mandatory.
