**Job title:** React Developer (W2 Contract) **Role Summary:** Contract front‑end developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications with React. Works closely with cross‑functional teams, converting UI/UX designs into production‑ready code, integrating with back‑end services, and ensuring high performance and quality. **Expectations:** - 6–8 years of professional front‑end development experience. - Proven track record delivering large‑scale, responsive React applications. - Ability to work on‑site, collaborate effectively within a team, and thrive under Agile workflows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Translate wireframes and mockups into functional React components. - Implement state management using Redux or analogous libraries. - Integrate frontend components with RESTful or GraphQL back‑end services. - Optimize rendering performance and ensure responsive design across devices. - Write unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library) to maintain code quality. - Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation updates. - Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs, monitoring performance metrics. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (or SCSS). - Deep knowledge of React fundamentals, hooks, component lifecycle, and best practices. - Experience with Redux (or similar) for global state management. - Familiarity with routing (React Router) and client‑side data fetching. - Performance optimization techniques (code splitting, memoization, lazy loading). - Responsive and cross‑browser compatible UI design. - Build tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and package management (npm/yarn). - Unit and integration testing with Jest, React Testing Library. - Version control (Git), branching, pull‑request workflow. - Agile/Scrum development environments. - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and effective communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Optional certifications: React/Javascript developer, Agile/Scrum practitioner.
