Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce IT Administrator Role Summary: Lead configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives, enhance user experience, and enable cross‑functional data integration and analytics. Expectations: Deliver scalable, secure Salesforce implementations; ensure data integrity and governance; support integration with external systems; provide tier‑2 user support and training; participate in agile delivery cycles. Key Responsibilities: • Configure and deploy Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud components. • Build and manage automation (flows, workflows, triggers) to streamline processes. • Design and maintain Journey Builder, Email Studio, Audience Builder, and data extensions for personalized engagement. • Manage Data Cloud ingestion pipelines, data harmonization, and identity resolution for unified customer profiles. • Develop custom reports and dashboards across Salesforce Clouds. • Conduct data audits, sandbox refreshes, and release management to maintain system integrity. • Define and enforce user profiles, roles, permissions, and data access policies. • Integrate Salesforce with third‑party systems via APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi, or ETL tools. • Monitor system health, security settings, and compliance with data governance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.). • Collaborate with business units, marketing, and operations to gather requirements and deliver solutions. • Deliver user training, documentation, and tier‑2 support. • Participate in agile sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and project delivery. Required Skills: • 3–5 years Salesforce Administration experience (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud). • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, automation, and security model. • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud setup and ingestion pipelines. • Knowledge of API integrations, middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi), and ETL processes. • Strong data management skills, relational database understanding, and reporting/analytics capabilities. • Familiarity with marketing automation, lead management, and campaign analytics. • Basic SQL and data transformation skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM‑201) required. • Preferred: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator/Consultant, Salesforce Certified Data Cloud (CDP) Administrator, and experience with marketing automation platforms.
