Job Description
Job title: Salesforce Developer & Systems Administrator Role Summary: Design, develop, and administer the core Salesforce platform to serve as the central source of truth. Build and maintain integrations with external systems, automate business processes, and support marketing and sales operations while ensuring data integrity and system performance. Expactations: Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions within Salesforce governor limits. Provide timely technical support to internal teams. Create clear documentation of configurations, integrations, and workflows. Communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Maintain high standards of code quality and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy Apex triggers, classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages with rigorous testing and version control. - Administer Salesforce for marketing and sales, optimizing data models and user permissions. - Design, create, and maintain integrations using Zapier, REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware. - Set up automated marketing events, triggers, and flows to enhance engagement and operational efficiency. - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. - Provide technical troubleshooting and support for Salesforce and connected services. - Produce and maintain documentation for system configurations, APIs, workflows, and best practices. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flow. - Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, code quality, and DevOps (source control, CI/CD). - Experience with integration tools (Zapier, MuleSoft, Boomi) and direct REST/SOAP API consumption. - Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to explain technical solutions to non‑technical audiences. - Familiarity with marketing automation (email triggers, event management). - Knowledge of document automation (DocuSign, similar tools). - Experience with telephony system integrations (Dialpad, Vonage, etc.) is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I preferred; Platform Developer II highly desirable. - Salesforce Administrator certification a plus.
