**Job Title:** National Account Executive/Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end account management for national retail chain customers, driving sales growth, profitability, and brand presence. Serve as the primary customer advocate, collaborating cross‑functionally to execute launches, promotions, and e‑commerce initiatives while maintaining strong supplier relationships and service levels.
**Expatations:**
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.
- Expand distribution and product mix within assigned accounts.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Travel regularly to key customers and trade shows as required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with buyers, category managers, and replenishment teams.
- Act as internal customer champion, ensuring responsive service and alignment with corporate goals.
- Develop and negotiate trade spend, pricing, and promotional programs.
- Track trade performance, analyze ROI, and recommend improvements.
- Own account forecasts, demand planning, and promotional lift modeling.
- Partner with Supply Chain/Demand Planning to guarantee on‑time delivery and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate CRM account plans, pipeline, and activity logs.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, Ops, and Category Management on launch readiness, promotional assets, and in‑store merchandising.
- Support retailer e‑commerce setup, digital content, and online promotions.
- Present KPI reviews, QBRs, and leadership updates with actionable insights.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years CPG sales experience, with ≥3 years managing national/regional chain accounts.
- Beverage industry experience preferred; knowledge of natural/organic retail and premium positioning.
- Proven record of revenue growth through distribution expansion, innovation launches, and promotion planning.
- Strong negotiation, pricing, and trade program skills.
- Data‑driven decision making, proficient in syndicated data (e.g., UNFI, KeHE, SPINS), Excel, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and strategic account thinking.
- Ability to travel frequently and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
