Job Description
**Job title:** Social Media Intern (Hybrid) **Role Summary:** Assist the National Content Creator in developing, scheduling, and publishing engaging social‑media content across Instagram and TikTok. Responsibilities include video editing, trend research, brand consistency oversight, and community interaction to support national marketing initiatives. **Expectations:** Unpaid internship, eligible for school credit. Flexible remote/hybrid work. Ability to travel to local leagues for on‑site content capture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce and schedule daily Instagram Reels, Stories, and Feed posts. - Edit short‑form videos using CapCut, Premiere, Canva, or equivalent tools. - Maintain brand voice and visual aesthetic across all captions and graphics. - Research and apply current social‑media trends to content strategy. - Track performance metrics and report on engagement and reach. - Participate in creative meetings and contribute new campaign ideas. - Handle light graphic design tasks and caption creation. - Respond to community comments and DMs in a timely manner. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with Instagram and TikTok platforms and trends. - Experience editing mobile and desktop video content. - Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar tools. - Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Self‑starter with ability to meet deadlines remotely. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a post‑secondary program (college or university) or recent graduate. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or experience in marketing, communications, media production, or journalism preferred.
