**Job Title** 2026 Summer Intern (Legal) **Role Summary** Provide day‑to‑day support to the Home Office Legal team, including legal research, documentation, and contract‑related tasks. Work on a variety of subjects such as government and commercial contracts, procurement, regulatory compliance, cyber law, and litigation support. **Expectations** - Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or law school program **or** have graduated within the last six months. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Commitment to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong ethics. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct legal research on topics such as government contracts, procurement, international trade, employment law, cyber security, data privacy, and litigation. - Assist with drafting, reviewing, and updating legal documents, contracts, and work instructions. - Manage paperwork and approval workflows for legal matters. - Maintain accurate records and documentation across the Legal Department. - Shadow senior legal professionals to learn organizational processes and procedures. - Perform basic issue resolution and provide recommendations for simple legal and contract matters. **Required Skills** - Strong written and oral communication. - Excellent analytical and research abilities. - Detail‑oriented and highly organized. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and regulatory texts. - Comfortable working in a desk‑based, climate‑controlled environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in an undergraduate or law school program, **or** completion of a degree within the last six months. - Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; law students; candidates with interest in government contracts, procurement, and international compliance.
