Job Description: **Job Title:** Asset Manager (Rail Infrastructure) – M/F **Role Summary:** Manage and monitor the railway infrastructure asset portfolio throughout its lifecycle, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost‑effective performance. Develop and implement multi‑year maintenance and investment strategies, oversee inspections and diagnostics, and provide technical reporting to operations and maintenance leadership. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in technical inspection, diagnosis, or asset management of civil/rail infrastructure. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder coordination. - Proactive approach to optimizing CAPEX/OPEX and supporting technical‑financial decision making. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain and update asset databases (technical data, history, condition). - Plan, conduct, or supervise inspections, diagnostics, and expert evaluations. - Classify assets by criticality (safety, availability, cost). - Analyze inspection results, prioritize preventive and corrective interventions, and produce condition reports with recommendations. - Develop multi‑year maintenance and investment plans; optimize lifecycle costs. - Contribute to technical specifications (CCTP), OPR processes, reserve clearance, and final acceptance of works. - Track post‑intervention performance and ensure compliance with specifications. - Keep documentary records (DOE, DIUO, historical logs) current. - Generate key performance indicators on asset condition, availability, risk, and lifecycle cost; report to operations/maintenance management. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in asset management software and Excel/SQL reporting tools. - Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies for civil/rail structures. - Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, schematics, and technical specifications. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross‑functional teams. - Rigor in documentation, data integrity, and reporting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or related field. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Asset Management, Project Management) are a plus but not mandatory.
