Senior TechOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable self‑service and automation platforms that support employee productivity and security across the organization. Drive identity provider migrations, AI‑powered support chatbots, and internal tooling to reduce ticket volume and accelerate operational efficiency.
**Expectations**
- Deliver hands‑on support for core tools and devices while focusing on building reusable, automated solutions.
- Own migration and onboarding projects for new tech platforms, ensuring seamless transition and user adoption.
- Maintain a security‑first mindset, collaborating with security teams on controls, audits, and secure‑by‑default practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day‑to‑day TechOps support for macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints using Kandji, Intune, or FleetDM.
- Lead migration to a new identity provider (planning, execution, communication, post‑migration support).
- Design and build an AI‑driven TechOps chatbot (e.g., Tines) to handle standard requests, troubleshoot, and reduce manual workload.
- Develop internal tools for onboarding, off‑boarding, access control, SaaS administration, and routine tasks.
- Administer productivity platforms – Google Workspace, Okta, Notion, Slack, Jira, and other SaaS tools.
- Build lightweight solutions for cross‑functional teams and support large company events.
- Create documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials to empower self‑service.
**Required Skills**
- Strong proficiency in macOS endpoint management; experience with Windows/Linux management tools.
- Identity governance and identity provider experience (Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
- Automation and workflow tooling (e.g., Tines, Zapier, Power Automate).
- AI/ML fundamentals for chatbot development or similar AI assistants.
- Scripting/automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- SaaS platform administration (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Notion).
- Ability to design and develop internal tools and APIs.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, G Suite Cloud Administrator, Okta Certified Professional, or equivalent are a plus.
