**Job Title**
Lead Computer Vision/ML Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, optimize, and deploy computer‑vision models for autonomous healthcare robots, lead MLOps pipelines, and build video‑processing systems that integrate classical signal processing with AI‑based vital‑sign extraction for real‑time edge inference.
**Expectations**
Drive projects independently from research to production, maintain high code quality and performance, mentor peers, and continuously improve engineering practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, fine‑tune, and deploy CV models (YOLO, InsightFace, MediaPipe, facial landmark detection, object tracking, pose estimation) for real‑time inference on embedded devices.
- Optimize models for edge deployment using quantization, pruning, TensorRT, and NVIDIA Triton.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for data preparation, training, validation, versioning, and performance monitoring.
- Develop video‑processing pipelines that fuse classical signal processing with machine‑learning–based vital‑sign extraction.
- Establish engineering best practices, reduce technical debt, and document architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with research, product, and hardware teams to translate prototypes into production‑ready systems.
**Required Skills**
- Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning or Computer Vision.
- 5+ years of experience deploying CV models to production on resource‑constrained hardware.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, CV algorithms, and systems programming.
- Proficiency in C++ (critical for edge pipeline) and Python for ML experimentation.
- Experience with PyTorch and model optimization (quantization, pruning).
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, and Triton Inference Server.
- MLOps experience: experiment tracking, model versioning, performance monitoring.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and ship production features.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field.
