**Job Title:** Sales Development Representative (SDR) **Role Summary:** Initiate contact with potential customers, promote BCIS’s cost and carbon data products, and convert leads into qualified opportunities. Manage prospect interactions in Zoho CRM, collaborate with account managers for smooth handovers, and contribute to continuous improvement of lead generation and sales processes. **Expectations:** - Minimum 1 year of SDR experience, preferably in a technology‑focused business. - Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate persuasively, and close demo appointments. - Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho preferred). - Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and curious about data‑driven decision making. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Research and identify new leads across key markets. 2. Engage prospects via phone and email, build rapport, and schedule product demonstrations. 3. Present BCIS data products and services clearly and compellingly. 4. Log and manage all interactions in Zoho CRM, ensuring accurate data capture. 5. Collaborate with account managers to hand over qualified opportunities. 6. Contribute ideas to enhance lead generation and sales processes. 7. Conduct timely follow‑ups on marketing campaign leads to generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). **Required Skills:** - Prospecting and cold outreach techniques. - Consultative selling and needs‑analysis. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Relationship building and networking. - CRM proficiency (Zoho). - Time management and organizational ability. - Analytical mindset; ability to interpret data to support sales conversations. - Self‑motivation and continuous learning orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (not mandatory). - No specific certifications required; familiarity with sales tools, CRM platforms, and basic data analytics concepts is advantageous.
