**Job Title:** Intern/Student **Role Summary:** Finance Intern supporting Accounting/Finance operations within a global payments technology organization. Rotational exposure to accounts payable/receivable, payroll, month‑end close, internal audits, and financial systems. **Expectations:** - Enrolled in or preparing to commence an AAT qualification. - Commit to completing AAT coursework and training sessions. - Actively seek learning opportunities and contribute ideas. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process accounts payable and receivable invoices: matching, coding, and reconciliation. - Assist with journal entries, month‑end and year‑end closing activities. - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. - Provide backup for critical functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and cost accounting. - Support internal audit and compliance checks. - Learn and apply departmental financial systems and software. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite. - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Proactive, adaptive, and reliable work ethic. - Team‑player mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in or immediate start of an AAT qualification. - Basic accounting knowledge preferred.
