Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Project Manager (Apprenticeship) **Role Summary:** Support Product Owners in managing and delivering IT products by facilitating agile ceremonies, tracking feature progress, identifying risks, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring alignment of planning and execution across cross‑functional teams. **Expectations:** - Deliver clear, actionable insights on project status to stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to agile processes and quality standards. - Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project artifacts and reporting tools. - Contribute to continuous improvement of product delivery practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions. - Lead operational tracking for one or more products: monitor feature status, highlight risks, coordinate synchronisation actions. - Update planning and backlog in collaboration with Product Owners. - Manage and update project artefacts in OneNote, GitLab, and SharePoint. - Oversee development phases (build, qualification, release) to ensure procedural compliance. - Support Product Owners during functional validation and product reviews. - Prepare and disseminate product review materials to senior management. - Apply and refine agile practices, reporting cadences, and tooling. - Propose practical enhancements to improve coordination and communication among teams. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (OneNote, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). - Working knowledge of version control and development tools (GitLab). - Understanding of Agile/Scrum fundamentals: backlog, sprint, planning, review, and risk management. - Strong synthesis ability and capability to produce clear, impactful documentation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self‑driven, organized, and capable of working autonomously while fostering team collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO) is advantageous but not mandatory.
