Job Description
**Job Title** Trainee Financial Management Controller **Role Summary** Provide support to the CFO in establishing and operationalizing the organization’s financial controls, cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting functions. Deliver accurate data, insights, and dashboards to drive operational performance and strategic decision‑making. **Expectations** - Ensure data reliability and integrity across financial processes. - Deliver timely and accurate reporting to senior management. - Continuously improve control procedures, KPIs, and financial tools. - Communicate clear, concise analyses and forecasts to facilitate strategic actions. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and implement the financial control framework, including procedures, tools, and governance. - Analyze activity‑based and product‑based costs; monitor variances against budget and estimates. - Track and interpret results against strategic and operational objectives. - Design, refine, and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting templates (including spreadsheets and BI tools). - Produce detailed reports and presentations for management reviews. - Draft economic analyses, forecast reports, and long‑term financial projections (business plans). - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data, propose solutions, and ensure data quality. **Required Skills** - Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, macros). - Experience with business‑intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills. - Clear written and verbal communication. - Ability to thrive in an agile, fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (3–5 years of university education) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or internship in financial controlling, budgeting, or cost analysis.
