Job title: DevOps SRE – Kubernetes
Role Summary: Junior DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer (Apprentice) responsible for operating and optimizing production Kubernetes clusters, deploying AI-based deepfake detection services, and ensuring high reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure.
Expectations: Begin immediately; actively participate in daily operations, development pipelines, and security tasks; document processes; learn cloud‑native DevOps practices and AI platform management; demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills; readiness to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor large‑scale Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments (cloud and on‑premise).
- Deploy and manage Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Bazel, Argo CD).
- Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Jaeger.
- Configure network and cloud resources (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, S3, IAM).
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles for infrastructure provisioning and version control.
- Participate in security reviews, compliance checks, and ISO 27001 governance activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (AI, security, operations) to support feature releases and troubleshoot incidents.
- Produce clear documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Linux, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Argo CD) and build systems (Bazel).
- Solid understanding of observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger).
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancers).
- Knowledge of cloud storage, IAM, and security best practices.
- Comfortable working in an ISO 27001 certified environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document technical processes.
- Curiosity, rigor, and eagerness to learn complex technical challenges.
- Technical English proficiency.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s (Bac+5) or final year of Bachelor’s (Bac+4) program in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- No formal certifications required, but familiarity with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) and cloud platforms is advantageous.
