Job Description

Job title: Full Stack Engineer Role Summary: Leads end‑to‑end development of scalable web applications, driving both front‑end and back‑end architecture, coding, and technical mentorship. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality code, shape system design, mentor peers, maintain CI/CD pipelines, collaborate across teams, and uphold security, performance, and best‑practice standards. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute as a hands‑on developer to front‑end (React/Next.js) and back‑end (Node.js/Express) codebases. - Define and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performance system architecture. - Mentor and review code for junior engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards. - Design and develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces in collaboration with UX/UI designers. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs or microservices, integrating with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. - Implement automated testing and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI). - Containerise applications using Docker and manage deployment workflows. - Work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. Required Skills: - Proficient in JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular). - Strong front‑end skills: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, modern JS (ES6+). - Experienced with Node.js, Express.js, and building RESTful APIs/microservices. - Database experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB). - CI/CD pipeline design and implementation; familiarity with Docker. - Excellent written and verbal English communication. - Team orientation, strong problem‑solving, and ability to thrive under pressure. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus but not mandatory.
