**Job Title:** Solution Lead / Product Lead – Payments (Acquiring)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the definition, design, and delivery of an end‑to‑end acquiring product proposition for selected merchant segments across Europe. Align business, technical, and stakeholder requirements to replace fragmented local solutions with a consolidated offering, and guide the product through roadmap planning, backlog creation, and market rollout.
**Expectations:**
- Proven experience in merchant acquiring, payments processing, or related financial services.
- Strong background in product ownership, solution design, and delivery within complex, cross‑functional environments.
- Ability to manage business analysts, prioritize backlogs, and coordinate with project managers and technical architects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and escalation skills.
- Familiarity with Visa/Mastercard processing and regulatory requirements is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define E2E product proposition, target operating models, and engagement scope for merchant segments.
- Gather and prioritize mandatory features; create and maintain a product backlog for initial deployment.
- Develop a high‑level roadmap for product evolution and market transition from local to consolidated solutions.
- Plan and align solution delivery activities with project management and other workstreams.
- Lead a team of Business Analysts to capture and document solution requirements (customer experience, processing, operations, performance).
- Ensure adherence to engagement model, design methodology, and internal quality standards for all deliverables.
- Report to the Solution Director; act as the central point for solution orchestration, inquiry, and decision validation.
- Identify gaps, issues, and new capability needs; collaborate with Product Leads and Technical Solution Architects on resolutions.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and integrity of all proposition, requirement, process, and solution documentation.
- Facilitate hand‑off of solution documentation to development teams.
**Required Skills:**
- Merchant acquiring and payments processing expertise (Visa/Mastercard preferred)
- Product management / product ownership experience
- Solution architecture and requirements engineering
- Agile backlog creation and prioritization
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
- Leadership of analyst teams and cross‑functional coordination

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master, Certified Payments Professional) are a plus.
