Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Analyst – Investments **Role Summary** Analyze and support equity and debt investment opportunities for a venture capital firm, creating financial models, conducting due diligence, and advising on transaction execution and portfolio growth. **Expectations** - Deliver rigorous financial analysis and investment memos that influence investment decisions. - Manage multiple deal pipelines and internal databases independently. - Foster productive relationships with portfolio companies and internal stakeholders. - Continuously improve internal tools, processes, and investment frameworks. **Key Responsibilities** - Evaluate and screen prospective investments for the firm and its portfolio companies. - Build and maintain detailed operating, LBO, and investment models, including scenario and exit analyses. - Lead due diligence activities, preparing deal materials, financial due‑diligence reports, and investment memoranda. - Monitor portfolio company performance, identifying value‑creation opportunities. - Conduct market research, produce quarterly market updates, deal activity tracking, and portfolio analyses. - Update and maintain internal databases for deal pipeline, market activity, and portfolio metrics. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (finance, operations, strategy) on enterprise initiatives. **Required Skills** - 1–3 years experience in private equity, investment banking, or related deal‑making functions. - Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools. - Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills. - Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple work streams with minimal oversight. - Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear investment recommendations. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent. - Additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus but not mandatory.
